A number of shops have experienced problems with linked sales this morning. It so far appears that this was linked to the postcode lookup service we use that may have been “flooded” by the volume of activity this morning – but it shouldn’t have responded like that.
Gift card sales, etc should have been unaffected and will continue to work.
Linked sales should now mostly be ok but you may experience the odd intermittent fault. If it doesn’t work, please skip that step and try again with another customer later on If it persists, then please raise back with us IT@cookfood.net.
There is an issue with Linked Sales again, as a temp work around can you close POS by double tapping the home button on the iPad and swiping it off the screen and then log back in. We will update you when we have more information.
From what we can observe the issue is no longer occurring but we are still investigating internally.
