Issue

Yesterday a few shops reported customers submitting duplicate orders, but we are not sure what the scale of the issue is yet. This can be caused by a number of factors, but was exacerbated by a Sagepay issue and heavy traffic on the website.

Shop Action

Please be extra vigilant. The large numbers of orders will make duplicates less likely to be sequential so more difficult to spot. Please make IT aware via a single daily email, including the duplicate order numbers.

We are aware of the issue and will be doing everything possible to solve or minimise the possibility of duplicate orders, unfortunately this is not an easy fix and might take considerable time to get to that stage, please bear with us.
