We've also implemented a temporary solution that should resolve the problem for most admins attempting to access the quarantine page from the Security & Compliance Center.

Current status: We've completed deployment of the preliminary fix, and tenant admins should be unblocked at this time. The remaining fix is scheduled to be deployed by Wednesday, September 20th at 10:00 PM UTC, which should fully resolve the issue for non-admin users. In the interim, we encourage impacted users to leverage the direct URLs referenced above to access quarantined messages.

Scope of impact: This issue potentially affects any of your users or admins attempting to access quarantine functionality through the Security & Compliance Center.

Estimated time to resolve: We expect this issue to be completely resolved for all users by September 20, 2017, at 10:00 PM UTC as the fix is safely implemented through our change management process.

Preliminary root cause: A recent update related to how authentication tokens are processed caused downstream impact to some features within the Security and Compliance Center. As a result, some users and admins are unable to access quarantined messages via the normal method.

Current status: We've identified that a subset of infrastructure is unable to process requests as expected, which is causing availability to drop unexpectedly. We're rerouting traffic to alternate infrastructure to remediate impact. In parallel, we're analyzing diagnostic data to understand the root cause.

Scope of impact: This issue could potentially affect any of your users intermittently if they are routed through the affected infrastructure.
