Just to let you know that Shopwave issues affecting both POS (promotions and general unresponsiveness) and the Shopwave website are still ongoing.
Shopwave are working hard to resolve these issues, but it has not been decided yet when the updates will be released. We will update you when we know.

A number of shops have reported that POS is still running slowly and promotions are not always working. We have discussed with Shopwave and they have requested more information. If you are experiencing problems and would like to help, please read the explanation below and send and email to IT@cookfood.net with your answers to the questions. Thank you.
"On hitting checkout, there are four stages, all of which could experience a delay. It would greatly help if you could provide a little more detail to your support request to help us investigate further and pinpoint the root cause of your issue. The stages are listed below, included is an example of how to respond."
e.g. Promos took 10 seconds to apply
e.g. Card Terminal took 20 Seconds to display present card message
e.g. Card Terminal Took 30 Seconds to authorise payment
e.g. On authorising payment, card terminal took 40 seconds to send back success message.
e.g. Promos failed to apply 1st time, customers card was declined and prompted to insert / enter pin. Customer had to manually swipe card.
POS should now be working properly. If you still have problems please report to IT.
